We celebrate St. Martin’s Day in a big way at our school. We make beautiful lanterns in our classrooms, and on November 11, we share a large Weckmann (a traditional St. Martin’s Day bread) in every class and join together to take part in the St. Martin’s Day parade in our community of Hassels.

It’s so lovely to see the lanterns glowing in the dark. We love this festival very much….
