We, Ms. Lendzian-Piel and Ms. Hemmerle, are school social workers with Diakonie Düsseldorf at our school.
We work on-site, and our office is located next to the school office in Room 111.

We in the school social work program know every student personally and support all classes through our regular programs.
We are here for you:
- Counseling for parents on parenting and life issues
- Referrals to support services
- Support with questions regarding the Education and Participation Package (BuT)
- Parent café and involving parents in school life
- Scheduling appointments with the school psychologist
We are here for your children:
- Social learning – we learn together
- Discussions regarding academic and personal issues
- Organizing active and quiet recess
- Democracy and tolerance through workshops and the student council
- Support during conflicts, dispute resolution, and bullying
- Support during the transition to secondary school
- Counseling for school anxiety and school refusal
Our counseling services are confidential and voluntary for you and your children. We are bound by professional confidentiality.
