With nearly 60 children, we took part in this year’s school pilgrimage organized by Düsseldorf’s elementary schools.

We began with a church service at St. Albertus Magnus Church in Golzheim. Afterward, we made a 4-kilometer pilgrimage along the Rhine to St. Lambertus Church in Düsseldorf’s Old Town. 

Various stations awaited us there: we were able to do crafts, sing, play, and draw. 

We were also given an explanation of the baptismal font and its unique features at St. Lambertus Church. 

To wrap things up, we celebrated a festive closing service together with 600 other elementary school children. 

We had a lot of fun and are already looking forward to the next time.
